Samantha Akkineni to woo fans with her village girl looks againSamantha Akkineni will once again sporting village belle avatar  in upcoming movie Seema Raja.

 Samantha  Akkieneni played the role of village belle Rama Lakshmi in Sukumar’s  village based drama Rangasthalam, which has turned out blockbuster at the box office and still running successfully. Samantha shared the screen space with mega Power Star Ram Charan in Rangasthalam. Now once again Samantha Akkineni is reprising the role of village belle for Ponram’s directorial venture Seema Raja, which  is set against a rural backdrop. Sivakarthikeyan is playing the lead role.  This is the first time Sivakarthikeyan and Samantha Akkineni are working together for a film.

 Recently during the media interaction, Samantha Akkineni opened up about her role. Samantha Said, “I am playing a typical village  girl, and will be seen wearing paavadai dhaavani. It’s a full-fledged commercial Siva-Ponram kind of films. I learnt Silambam (martial art) for this film and I will be seen performing action sequences also.” Seema Raja is bankrolled by 24AM Studios.

Samantha Akkineni has already wrapped up the shoot of her portion in Seema Raja. Sivakarthikeyan is eagerly waiting to watch Samantha Akkineni’s Silambattam skills on the big screen.  In March,  Sivakarthikeyan  wrote on his Twitter, “Thank you Samantha! Happy working with u & waiting to see ur Silambattam on screen with audience  #SeemaRaja.”

 On the otherside, Currently Samantha Akkineni is enjoying the success of her recent offering Mahanati, directed by Nag Ashwin, Samantha Akkineni played the role of journalist in Mahanati whereas Keerthy Suresh played titular role. Currently Samantha is busy in her upcoming movie Super Deluxe  and U Turn remake.
