It’s the season of multi-starrers in Tollywood. Nagarjuna and Nani have joined hands for an untitled movie directed by Sriram Aditya.
Varun Tej and Venkatesh will be teaming up for F2 (Fun And Frustration) that will be helmed by Anil Ravipudi.
But one multi-starrer that will surely make headlines is the one SS Rajamouli is making with Ram Charan and Jr NTR. DVV Danayya will pool resources for the high budget film tentatively titled #RRR.
After striking gold at the box office with Prabhas and Rana Daggubati starrer Baahubali franchise, Rajamouli will be making a sports based film with two superstars of Telugu cinema playing lead roles.
Rajamouli enjoys a good fan base like star heroes and people across the nation throng to cinemas to watch his movies.
Though #RRR is still in pre-production stage, few top production houses are said to be offering a staggering amount to be associated with production or acquire rights for other languages like Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam etc.
Apparently, Rajamouli is not in a hurry to sell rights of his film or make deal with any production houses at this point of time.
In fact, Baahubali rights were sold only few days before the release of the film. Likewise, Rajamouli is not willing to accept any offers as price will be hiked if business deals are opened for auction during production stages or one or two months before release.
Rajamouli is planning to begin #RRR later this year. While Charan will play the role of a jockey, NTR will essay the role of a boxer in the film which is set in the backdrop of 1985 Olympics.
Producer DVV Danayya has no qualms to invest any budget on the film as he will enjoy huge profits through pre-release business.
On the other hand, Rajamouli will be given a share from the film’s business as his remuneration.
