In fact, college days are the perfect time to get serious about one’s health. Most campuses have gyms and these are accessible to students at affordable rates than the average gym membership. Many college fitness centres witness huge participation of students.

The perfect plan for a healthy body is the combination of proper diet and regular workout. The perfect body cannot be achieved without a proper diet.

College students mostly depend on gyms in campus and workout tutorial videos. They also use apps to meet different goals such as developing an exercise routine or improving eating habits. Health education programmes also influence college students and play a great role in improving their physical fitness. After all, physical fitness has proven to have positive effects both on the body and mind.

Fitness trackers are becoming a popular way to encourage physical activity among college students. Many college students also own and use fitness trackers to self-monitor step count. Like her, many college students are carefully watching what they eat. They mostly prefer homely food and avoid eating unhealthy snacks. Drinking enough water and getting sufficient sleep are other key factors.

Many students also use stairs instead of lifts. They also prefer walking to cover short distances. Says Sivacharan of Amrita Viswa Vidyapeetham, Kollam, “For me, proper and enough sleep is important.
