The Hindi film industry is overloaded with stylish moms and what could be better than celebrating them on Mother’s Day? Apart from the aforementioned stars, Shilpa Shetty, Kajol, Madhuri Dixit and Karisma Kapoor are examples of beautiful and stylish mothers of Bollywood – who are not only mangaging their career but also children and their household.

Kareena Kapoor Khan
Fit and healthy is Kareena Kapoor Khan’s mantra. Apart from following a rigorous workout schedule, Kareena maintains a healthy diet as well and is rarely known to indulge in unhealthy stuff. She even worked while she was pregnant and just took a short break before her son Taimur’s birth. In fact, 46 days after her child was born, Kareena, 37, walked the ramp at the Lakme Fashion Week. Yes, you read that right. And soon after, resumed filming Veere Di Wedding, and started gymming too. You’ve seen those videos, right? The result, thereafter, is there in front of you.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Athough Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was on a sabbatical for around four years after her daughter Aaradhya was born, we didn’t quite mind the ait after we witnessed the result on celluloid in her comeback film Jazbaa in 2015. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was another major milestone in which the 44-year-old actress, cast as a poet in the Karan Johar-directed film, was every bit gorgeous in long coats and black dresses. Ranbir Kapoor is the actor opposite whom Aishwarya featured but nobody cared to notice the fact that he is nine years younger than her – because the age gap, most certainly, wasn’t visible.
Who said you can’t binge eat if you are dieting and attempting to build a fantastic figure? Take a cue from Shilpa Shetty. She gorges over unhealthy stuff like jalebis and what not every Sunday but when it comes to workouts or her yoga regime, Shilpa is dead serious and wouldn’t miss it for the world. Hence, you see what you see in those stunning pictures of her in sarees or dresses on her Instagram. Although Shilpa hasn’t appeared on celluloid after 2014, she does judge reality shows and attend public soirees with son Viaan, 7 and husband, industrialist Raj Kundra.
Like her sister Kareena, Karisma Kapoor is no less. Although very less is known of her gym schedule and diet, we are sure about the fact that she works out regularly – else how is it even possible to achieve that stunning figure at 43? Karisma has two children with her former husband Sunjay Kapur – Samaira, 13 and Kiaan, 8.
After her daughter Nysa’s birth, Kajol limited her appearances on celluloid, and although we have to wait for her films, it’s kinda okay because we get to witness her beauty and powerful performances in films such as My Name Is Khan. Kajol, although, hasn’t revealed her workout schedule unlike others, but in several interviews, has said that she avoids eating fried food and consumes plenty of fruits and vegetables apart from hydrating herself with litres of water. She also parents a son, Yug apart from Nysa.
If you are healthy, it shows – Madhuri Dixit believes in this rule and you should do. In an interview previously, Madhuri, 50, had said that she works out six days a week tries to get plenty of sleep. This apart, she also practices Kathak thrice a week and very obviously, eats healthy. That, thus, is the secret behind Madhuri’s gltz and glamour. She kept herself away from films after 2014’s Gulaab Gang and is finally making her comeback with Marathi movie Bucket List, and will subsequently feature in Total Dhamaal and Kalank. Madhuri has two children – Raayan and Arin.
Before we even begin discussing Malaika Arora, let it be known that it absolutely isn’t easy to get her figure if you do not believe in intensive workout schedules. And of course, a healthy diet. She mostly consumes fruits and vegetables and eats light – such as soups and salads. Well, that’s about it. Malaika has one son – Arhaan, with her former husband, Arbaaz Khan.
Be it Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kajol or Aishwarya Rai Bachchan – the secret to their gorgeous figures is pretty simple – disciplined workouts and proper diets. It’s inspiring enough, right?
